Raze finally gets a Glaive after almost 10 months of farming Illidan!

Well, it finally dropped and the curse is over after almost 10 months of farming Illidan. Raze got the off-hand glaive to drop to complete Alatides set. Alatide transfered to our guild with the main hand a few months back. Grats!

Sunwell proved to be one of the hardest raid dungeons Blizzard has ever released. Raze went through many changes after we downed M'uru. Most of our Roster had to be rebuilt and reworked. Every time we went to put in some time on KJ we just couldn't get the right setup or the same 25 peeople to show up. Most of our progression came in the last 2 weeks as we started using a warlock tank, 1 pally tank, 7 healers and the rest DPS. There is alot to be said about the ones that stuck this dungeon out and saw it through. And to all those that gave up...well, there is always Karazhan ;)

It feels good to finally complete it before they nerf it all to hell tomorrow. Good work Raze!

6 Weeks, nearing 600 pulls, a nerf and about 50,000G in repairs later this prick is finally down. After a depressing 5% wipe the night before he was nerfed we came back expecting it to be easy and was sorely mistaken. This encounter is not a Lol Ezmode boss even with the 10% shaved HP from him. Grats to all the guilds out there that was able to get him down before the nerf, he truely is one of the most challenging bosses in TBC.

I will say we kind of had it easy. We were able to learn from all the other guilds out there that had to put in the hours to learn the exact positioning for the reverse order kill, which is the way we learned the fight. It is a much more controlled way to learn the fight and first time we got them to Phase 2 we got the kill. Grats Raze!

Raze has seen alot of changes the past 2 weeks but are finally back in the swing of things. Grats to everyone involved, was a well earned kill.

Damn fun fight to learn, job well done by everyone there tonight. We pulled him down about 8sec after the enrage with 7 healers and about 28.8k raid DPS. Fraps will be up soon.

All I can say is I have never seen such a well tuned encounter from Blizzard. This boss fight will test your DPS, your Tanks, Decursers and more then anything your healers. Everyone needs to pull it together to get this boss down and leaves no room for error. Grats Raze, job well done.

We finally got around to completing the ZA Timed run with 4 minutes to spare and one wipe on the final boss. We started at the Eagle, then Bear, DragonHawk, and Lynx Boss. For the most part is was a pretty smooth run, we ran with 2 healers (Resto Shaman, Holy Pally), 2 rogues, 1 enh shaman, 1 Ret Pally, 2 tanks ( 1 Prot Warrior, 1 Druid), 1 Lock, 1 S priest.

Edit: Grats to Shailom, Discrete, Severin, Tal, and now Skexis on the 5th mount for Raze.

Illidan Stormrage Dead!

All I can say is WoW. I have to say that our group of raiders is some of the best players I have had the pleasure of ever raiding with. Illidan is dead, after 3 total nights of attempts on him and Retaliation battlegroup finally has an Alliance guild with Illidan under their belt. GG Raze, you all have deserved the rewards you have received and will continue to receive.

Guess who's next?!?
